In pursuit of its vision, Nexgen has entered into a strategic in-licensing tie up with a US based company, which specializes in Novel Drug Delivery Systems (NDDS) and has a very strong pipeline of NDDS products, across various therapeutic categories. The products have been developed by the US company using their patented technologies and Nexgen has the exclusive marketing rights for these products globally, except for North America & Canada.

For product development, Nexgen has a partnership with a company based in Mumbai, India, having a state of the art R&D center.

The R&D center is well equipped with formulation development equipments which enable us to use varied technologies and is also supported with a strong analytical department. The formulation department has, amongst conventional formulation equipments, Fluid Bed Coater Granulator, Spray Congealer, as well as Bi-layer tablet press. The state of the art equipments are handled by scientists and technical staff having expertise in developing NDDS as well as other difficult to formulate products. The analytical department is equipped with Automated Dissolution Apparatus, HPLC Systems with RID, LSD, FLD detectors along with the UV and DAD detectors. Other equipments include LC-MS/MS, Ion Trap, Malvern Particle Size Analyzer and Brookfeld Rheometer. The analytical department uses Agilent Lab Informatics system 'Open Lab'.
